Welcome to Null & Son Funeral Home
The original business known as Null Undertaking was located at the intersection of Sixth and Pine Streets. In 1933, when S. Claude Null joined his father in the business, it became known as Null & Son Funeral Home. After Rudolph Null’s death in 1946, S. Claude continued the operation of the funeral home with his son, Paul.
Over the years, the funeral business underwent some hard times. During, the Great Depression, Null & Son Funeral Home provided services to many families who were unable to pay. The funeral home also experienced a devastating fire that destroyed the entire building. The community rallied around the business and worked with them throughout the rebuilding process. Consequently, the business continued to expand and a larger facility was built at the corner of 12 th and Pine Streets. A few years later, the business moved to Eighth and Pine Streets. In 1960, the funeral home moved to its present location at 1010 Kingshighway. The facility built by the Null family in 1960 was one of the best facilities in out-state Missouri at the time. The community was very proud of this endeavor. In our efforts to maintain the high standards and traditions established by the Null family, we have recently completely remodeled the funeral home. In addition, we have added a new state of the art selection room.
