Obituary for Norma Arlene Klarner

Norma Arlene Klarner, of Edgar Springs, MO, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the age of 80. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.
She was born on March 3, 1937 in Rolla, MO to the late Aulton Heavin and Mabel Jane (Brown) Heavin. On June 13, 1969 she married William Klarner who preceded her in death in April of 1986.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Johnny Franklin Moore and a brother, Joseph Arthur Heavin.
Norma loved spending time with and loving her family. She enjoyed being outdoors and watching Cardinal baseball. She was employed at the Licking Park Manor for over 25 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary in Rolla.
Norma was the most giving person you could ever meet. She gave her time, love and all her energy into those around her. She would be the one in need so that your family could be the one to not want. Norma spread her wide and strong wings to take everyone under and always had a special place in there for her granddaughter, Joni. Something is in the bond between those two that will never waver, even as she lies in her eternal sleep. Their relationship is a testimony to us all that shows what levels of bliss can be achieved in another’s presence. May the most genuinely caring woman who’s path we were all lucky enough to cross in the road of life rest in peace.
Norma will be sadly missed by her surviving family which includes: three children, Connie Sandifer of Arnold, MO, Lindo Snodgrass of Edgar Springs, MO and Gary Moore of Edgar Springs, MO; two sisters, Ruth Mansfield of St. Louis, MO and Delores Wilson of Edgar Springs, MO; eleven grandchildren, Shannon Schiwitz and husband Charles, Courtney Gonzales, Dannah Ellis, Nicole Sandifer and husband Matt, Joni Johnson and husband Brandon, Linda Holdeman and husband Patrick, Katie Moore, Krista Snodgrass, Jacob Moore, Jenna Snodgrass and Jessica Moore; sixteen great grandchildren, Shelby Black, Hope Maedgen, Nathan Burton, Jerney Ellis, Madison Huerta, Kaleb Hart, Brayden Sandifer, Willa Johnson, Logan Holdeman, Harmony Ellis, Noah Johnson, Reagan Holdeman, Amelia Gately, Tyler Johnson, Cooper Sandifer and Melvin Harris.
A funeral service for Norma A. Klarner will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Edgar Springs Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, December 29 at the funeral home.
