Obituary for Paul D. Eagle, Sr.

Paul D. Eagle, Sr., of St. James, MO, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the age of 85.
He was born on July 21, 1933 in the state of California. On August 21, 1958, he married Irene Eagle who preceded him in death on February 22, 2017. Irene was the love of his life and he missed her tremendously.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Eagle and Eddie Eagle.
Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. He was employed as a State Fire Marshall when he retired. Paul was a Korean War veteran serving first in the U.S. Navy and later in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the VFW Post 5608 in St. James, MO and also served as a volunteer with the St. James Police Dept.
Paul will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: one son, Paul D. Eagle, Jr. and fiancée Glenda Davis of St. James, MO; a daughter, Deborah Elaine Hartupee and husband Keith of Union, MO; four grandchildren, Katrina Anne Eagle, Lauren A. Sperry and husband Andrew, Chelsey A. Hartupee and Khaley D. Watts and husband Trey; and six great grandchildren, Jaden Byers, Kennedy Byers, Khloe Eagle, Peyton Sperry, Kinley Sperry and Clark Watts.
A graveside memorial service with full military honors will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rolla, MO.
