Obituary for William Jackson Fonville

William Jackson “Bill” Fonville, of Rolla, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the age of 91.
He was born in Maries County, MO on October 23, 1926 to the late William and Victoria (Weaver) Fonville.
Bill was veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from General Motors in 1982 after 29 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. He was a Mason and Life member of the NRA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Clarence Fonville and one sister, Hazel Carico.
He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Bill Fonville will be held at 10 am Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Davis Cemetery in rural Maries County. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm Wednesday, October 24th at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Wounded Warriors.
