Obituary for Casper John Werdehausen Sr

Casper John “Cap” Werdehausen Sr., of Doolittle, MO, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the age of 77.
He was born in St. Thomas, MO on February 6, 1941 to the late George and Emma (Kirkweg) Werdehausen. On June 7, 1975 he married Ruby McQueen, who survives.
Cap was a member of the New Home Baptist Church in rural Doolittle.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Catherine Hurst, and four brothers, August, Edward, John and Otto Werdehausen.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes his wife, Ruby Werdehausen, of Doolittle; children, Carl Werdehausen and wife Bethany, of Doolittle, Robyn Collier and husband Mike, of Doolittle, and Casper Werdehausen Jr. and wife Shirley, of Bland, MO; grandchildren, Taylor Werdehausen, Christian Werdehausen, Kaitlyn Collier, Nicky Collier and Mikey Collier; he is further survived by children, Gregory Werdehausen, Debra Moss and Tammy Shannon; an additional 9 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Jessica Werdehausen, of Rolla; three brothers, Fred Werdehausen and wife Jeanie, Raymond Werdehausen and Elmer Werdehausen and wife Chris, all of Holt Summit, MO; one sister, Marie White, of Clear Water, FL; nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral service for Cap Werdehausen will be held at 11 am Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Pea Ridge Cemetery in Doolittle. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm Monday, March 26th at Null and Son.
Memorial contributions are suggested to either the New Home Baptist Church or The Mission.
