Obituary for Geraldine C. Rosenburg

Geraldine C. Rosenburg, of Richland, MO, formerly of Rolla, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at the age of 93.
She was born in the state of Illinois on May 8, 1924 to the late Henry Clyde Lewis and Sabra (Price) Lewis. On July 11, 1943 she married Lyle Rosenburg who preceded her in death on November 26, 1995.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, James Lyle Roseburg in November of 1973; a sister, Mae Jones and two brothers, Chester Lewis and Charles Lewis.
Geraldine enjoyed quilting and gardening. She worked for JC Penney’s for 23 years. She was also member of First Christian Church in Rolla. Geraldine was an all around wonderful homemaker.
Geraldine will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes; one daughter, Brenda Zeigenbein and husband Clarence of Waynesville, MO; a brother, Clyde Lewis of St. James, MO; a sister, Elsie Atwell of Washington, MO; six grandchildren, Shawn Ettleman and wife Dawn, J.D. Rosenburg, Lori Daharsh and husband Kevin, Kyle Manuel, Sirikka Lohoefener and Hope Shea; and four great grandchildren, Nicole Ettleman, Carleigh Daharsh, Nathan Rosenburg and James Lyle Rosenburg.
A funeral service for Geraldine C. Rosenburg will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 12 noon at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Davis Cemetery.
