Obituary for Helen E. Wilson

Helen E. Wilson, of St. Louis, Mo, formerly of Duke, MO, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, at the age of 95.
She was born in Catawissa, MO, on November 7, 1922 to the late George Zimmerman and Anne (Cordes) Zimmerman.
On December 15, 1945, she married Wilford Wilson who preceded her in death in April of 1973.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by an infant son, Wilford Wilson, Jr., an infant brother, William Zimmerman, and her sister, Melba Weber.
Helen practiced her faith through the United Church of Christ. She most recently attended the St. Martin’s Church in Dittmer, MO. She was an avid and talented hand quilter and member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary for twenty-five years.
She will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes her two daughters, Mary Jane Autry and husband Charles, of St. Louis, MO and Lillian Henry and husband Douglas, of Duke, MO; three grandchildren, Susan Autry, David Autry, and Lisa Autry; two great grandchildren, Aiyana Autry and Anthony Autry; one great-great grandchild, Christian Autry; nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral service for Helen Wilson will be held at 1 pm Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rolla. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service Thursday beginning at 11 am at Null and Son.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
