Obituary for Ruby Mae Hufstedler

Ruby Mae Hufstedler, of Rolla, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at the age of 87.
She was born in Mason City, IL on October 1, 1930 to the late James Perry Stogsdill and Elizabeth Frances (Boulware) Stogsdill.
She was married to Paul Hufstedler who preceded her in death.
Ruby was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Doolittle. She served several years volunteering as a Senior Companion. Among her interests that she enjoyed were collecting lighthouses and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Stogsdill and three sisters, Lorene Spencer, Leona Baldwin and Opal Talbert.
She will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes her son, Charles Crews, of Rolla; one brother, James Stogsdill, of Dexter, MO; two sisters, Helen Patton and husband Chester, of Rolla, and Bonnie Curtis, of Bristol, VA; a grandson, Daniel Edward Crews, of San Jose, CA; two step grandchildren, Patrick Hatton and John Hatton; a host of nieces and nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service for Ruby Hufstedler will be held at 1 pm Friday, August 10, 2018 at Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rolla. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla beginning at 11 am Friday until time of service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
